  • 1937, born in Hillsdale, Michigan and raised in Manistee, Michigan.

  • 1982 to 1987, resident of Leavenworth, Kansas.

  • 1987 to present, resident of Lansing, Kansas.

  • Married, 2 children, and 6 grandchildren

Education

  • 1962, Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in Corrections.

  • 1965-1967, Two years of law from Detroit College of Law.

  • 1970, Master degree from Eastern Michigan University in Guidance and Counseling.

  • 1985 to present, completed many self study and classroom courses in various aspects of real estate.

Professional History

  • 1966 to 1987, employed by the Federal Justice Department (Federal Prison System) with assignments in Milan, and Detroit, Michigan; Chicago, Illinois; and Leavenworth Penitentiary, retired in 1987.

  • 1985, Completed classes and exam to become a Real Estate Agent at Coldwell Banker.

  • 1988, Obtained Graduate of Realtor's Institute (GRI) and license as an Associate Broker.

  • 1991, Completed requirements for Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

  • 1992, Top Producer in Leavenworth and #10 in Kansas, Coldwell Banker, Leavenworth, Kansas.

  • 1993, Purchased franchise and opened RE/MAX Crossroads Realty in Leavenworth, Kansas.

  • 1995 through 2000,  Awarded membership to Kansas Association of Realtors' Honor Society.

  • 1998, Completed requirements for Certified Residential Broker (CRB).

  • 1998, Sold RE/MAX franchise 

  • 1990 to present, hold the title of Multi-Million Dollar Producer in marketing and selling properties.

  • 1998 to present working part-time with Northrop-Grumman BCTP Army Simulation Program at various locations throughout the world.

 

Community Activities

  • Active member of Heartland Board of Realtors (Kansas City Metro) and Kansas Association of Realtors.

  • Member of Professional Standards Committee, Kansas Association of Realtors.

  • Past President of Multiple Listing Service (MLS), Leavenworth Board of Realtors.

  • Past President of the Lansing/Leavenworth Leadership "Leader" Group.

  • Served on Lansing Planning Commission for six years.

  • Past member of Leavenworth/Lansing Chamber of Commerce.

  • Past member of Leavenworth Area Development (LAD).

  • Past President of U. S. Employee's Club for 3 years when employed at United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth, Kansas.

  • Active member of the local Eagles and Elks organizations.

  • Resided in Leavenworth and Lansing area since 1982.
